Fort Lauderdale weather in late January

Has anyone gone to Fort Lauderdale in late January. I am looking fo an idea about the weather ie good enough for the beach and swimsuit weather?

It can be anything, but in our experience, cool to cold. The group we went with made a logo of a palm tree with a sweater on it!!

Depends on how cold you like your water. The water won't be warm and air temps are fine for beach walking - but who knows exactly what that means to you.

May be rainy and chilly.

Too cold for beach. Windy. My brother lives in South Florida and I make an annual trip - you really can't count on nice, warm weather until March. Locals wear winter coats until then.
