Fort Lauderdale to Miami
 

My husband and I are flying into Fort Lauderdale(Jet Blue) and need to get to Miami. We are staying at the Loews. Any ideas about how much a taxi ride is going to cost? is there a shuttle we can take? Thanks for your help!

taxi is going to run you about $55. i would suggest taking the train to miami airport and taking the super shuttle from miami airport to our hotel.

I just saw one of their ads in today's Orlando Sentinel. I have never tried them so I can't vouch for them.

I wouldn't depend on Tr-Rail. Still lots of kinks on the system.

I would go on Hotwire and rent a car for $20 and just drop it off in Miami.

I think a cab would be closer to $75

GoTravel's suggestion has some merit, particularly if you could get FF miles for the rental.
