leaving for FLL next week and need help on where to stay..love to stay on the beach, upscale/quiet..nice area..any ideas? Thanks

Try the Westin Diplomat in Hollywood...

let me get this straight. you're headed to lauderdale in the height of season when most things are booked a year ahead and you are concerned with" upscale"? You've got to be kidding. Maybe you can get a cancellation at the Marriot on the beach if you are lucky.

To xxx,<BR>We have been going to Fll for years and never make our reservations until January and never have a problem with finding a nice quiet upscale place at the last minute. Naomi don't give up!

I would suggest the Marriot on the beach. It is one of the nicer properties in FLL on the beach. Lago Mar is also nice, down the road from the Marriot. Good luck in finding accomadations.
