forgotten item

Starting on a trip what forgotten item would you return home for and how far is to far to return ?

gail Sep 4th, 2006 03:49 AM

Only documents required for trip - tickets, passport, etc. Everything else I could do without or replace. (Perhaps I would also return home if I forgot my traveling companions)

If I forgot the Columbian coffee, I would turn the plane around. ;;)

What has been forgotten? How distant is the travel destination?

Suzie Sep 4th, 2006 08:42 AM

If I received the keys to my vacation rental in the mail I guess I would have to return for those. Of course you'd have to return for any plane tickets or passports if needed. Otherwise I'd whip out my trusty visa card to buy what I needed - unless of course I was still in my neighborhood or maybe within 5 miles of home when I realized I had forgotten the item.

Passport? prescription glasses?? money???

but I'd never forget those things. Anything else you can replace or do without.

bobrad, since you topped this, I am wondering if there is a more specific answer you are looking for. Is there more to this?

Kids, yes, unless it's more than 10miles. Sorry kids, I did ask you 20 times to get in the car, we're going to Disney World. Hope the dog sitter feeds them while we're gone.

ipod robbie, did you inspire the "Home Alone" movies?

:-D

lol, we were halfway up the Palisades Parkway to the NYState Thruway on a drive to Montreal, when I remembered the passports :)
It was maybe 45 minutes back..instead of arriving in the afternoon, we arrived at dinner time , it was dark and snowing. But it was still a faaabulous trip :)
