For Patrick, re: Tony Awards
Sorry, I think I have your old email address or I would have sent this directly. The first one without a caption during the "I See Dead People" portion of the show was Christopher Reeve! And, yes indeed, Jerry Ohrbach was the last one without a caption. A picture when he was very, very young--you wouldn't even recognize him (unless you were Howard!).

Yes, now I do remember seeing that flash of Christopher Reeve, but there was too much talking to hear at the time. And I've known Jerry Orbach since he did The Fantasticks in 1960! So I'm sure I would have recognized. Sure enjoyed our drinks yesterday with you and Howard. Lee was a little confused with his Alzheimer's and today mentioned that he thought you were husband and wife! By the way Ethan Hawke was absolutely amazing in Hurly Burley and I literally sat on the edge of my seat for the whole three plus hours! Amazing acting exercise, despite the disgusting characters and story. |
Ooops. Time to head off for drink and some cheese at Sardi's at the bar before SPAMALOT at 7 tonight. Front row center mezzanine!

Hi Patrick!! Glad you are enjoying my old hometown! Say hello for me ((F))

Ahms for the poor, ahms for the poor!!!!! Hope you enjoy the show Patrick!
|
Patrick, I will be waiting for a full, detailed, report of Spamalot from you! Hope you are having a wonderful time. Where did you end up staying?
|
Hi Patrick! Yes, it was a pleasure meeting you and Lee. I had a great time and some refreshing conversation. Funny, it felt like we were old friends already, before I'd even sat down! Would love to get together again on your next trip up here, if I can get some face time in between shows!
