Hi

I went to Naples last year and fell in love with it so much that I'm looking to move there from the UK. Getting visa's and the like set up now. I'm looking for help in finding work - can anyone reccommend good online sources for jobs in Naples? Are there any big companies located nearby? - I work in I.T.

Sorry, I'm ignorant. I.T.? "International Trading"? "Inciting Tourism"? Hey, that would work.

You must realize there isn't much business or industry here. We do have a Fortune 500 company (I think) called Allen Systems, something to do with computers. But not a whole lot more other than small businesses, about a million banks, and lots of tourist services. Let me know more, and I'll do some nosing around for you.

In my experience, usually "I.T." people are the ones who set up, upgrade & maintain computers & phone systems used by employees in a company.

Well, aren't I the dummy? I was also thinking "Illegal Trafficking" but decided that probably wasn't it, but it would have been a whole lot more interesting.

So what kind of company does one do "information technology" with? Where do you start looking? Maybe Allen Systems is the place? Is that the same as "information software" or "information management"? If so, see www.asg.com

I believe individuals might be able to post if they're looking for jobs as well. You might want to give that a try -- especially since you can do it from your computer at home in the UK.

Information Technology is a catchall phrase for computers.

I'd guess most larger corporations employ their own department of IT personell to manage employees' computers. Find out which large corporations have offices in Naples area and you should have a good place to start a job search.
