Football (watching) in Maui?
 

I posted this questions a few months ago, but was hoping for a little more help.

I am a football junkie (huge Steelers fan), and was hoping somebody could recommend a spot to watch the game(s) on Sat/Sun. I know with the time difference that the games start early.

We leave in 10 days, and will be staying at the 4S in Maui, so anywhere close?

Moose McGillicuddy's on Front Street has about 10 tv's on throughout the place showing the football games but that is in Lahaina. If you are planning to drive out to Lahaina anyway though, that would be the place to get an early bloody mary and hang out at the bar with other football fans. It's also a good place for cheap eats. Early bird specials til 8:30 am include a $1.99 breakfast platter. Breakfast potato skins are great. They also have a 12-egg omelette(!) Sorry I can't help you with the Wailea area.

Mulligan's in Wailea, Sports Page in Kihei. I believe they both open at 7 on game days. Mulligans is the closest, across the street from the 4S. They serve breakfast. Sports Page has cheaper beer and pool tables.

Mulligan's is nice. Drive inland from the 4S, (after getting directions from an employee there) between two fairways, or toward the clubhouse, right?. We went there one night after the bar closed at GWR. Has a large, u-shaped mahogany bar inside. Restrooms out the patio door in the partial glass wall opposite the entry door. They didn't serve Rolling Rock that night...

Just got back from 2 wonderful weeks. I was able to catch both Steelers games. Watched one at Mulligans, and had breakfast, then a few pints. Great place to watch the game. Breakfast was really good and the omelette was HUGE (I am talking 6-9 eggs!) Felt strange drinking pints so early in the morning, but it took me back to the tailgating days in college.

A few Steelers fans were there too!
