Food tour- the Village or Meatpacking district?

Hi
I saw in a previous post this wonderful food tasteing tour. I am going to take me and my family and do it. But which one should I choose? They are filling up fast, any suggestions? Never been to either area before.
Thank you!

I have not been on the Meatpacking tour, but I've been on the Village eating tour twice and thoroughly enjoyed it both times.
I don't know if it's your first time in New York, but it was my first time and I was more anxious to see the Village as well as sampling the foods.

I'm taking my 16 year old daughter on the Greenwich Village tour through Foods of New York in April. It's gotten great reviews.

Thanks I will get my tickets to the Village tour right now. I assume my teenagers will like it or at least like the area.

Thanks!!
