Fodor's time on line, at work or at home?

Just curious, do most of you do your postings at work or at home? It seems like most of the postings are from 8-5 pm.

14VK8SHN Dec 9th, 2003 01:44 PM

Both, I work out of home! But still too busy most of day.

J_Correa Dec 9th, 2003 01:56 PM

I post at work between doing actual work.

FainaAgain Dec 9th, 2003 02:58 PM

I do actual work between postings =:)

Elena Dec 9th, 2003 03:20 PM

Average day at work: Actual work, lurking, actual work, post, actual work, lurk some more....

Kal Dec 9th, 2003 03:51 PM

Ditto what 14VK8SHN sez.

Too much "end of the year/going on vacation" paper to process of late....plus the darn site was screwed up yesterday every time I looked! :-O

Paul Dec 9th, 2003 04:56 PM

I usually make my posts from my car - while I am driving down the highway either to or from work.

;-)

Work and home... technically (luckily) time spent at this site qualifies as research! I pop in/out all the time and generally only look at hotel posts.

I sometimes read the board on my lunch hour, but only post from home.

logandog Dec 9th, 2003 07:17 PM

Leave me alone ! I'm working.

makai1 Dec 9th, 2003 07:36 PM

Ditto to working at home... reading / posting is a nice way to take a break in the midst of the craziness of running a business... oh, and then there is the after hours, end of the day, everything is quiet, let's see what's new... can't help myself thing ;)

PamSF Dec 9th, 2003 10:32 PM

home..having come home for breaks from the office.

gail Dec 10th, 2003 01:28 AM

I work at home and see clients on the road - I don't post when I am driving but it is great for task-avoidance at home office (and also task-avoidance when I need to do laundry, clean the house, etc.)

Scarlett Dec 10th, 2003 05:57 AM

homeworkhomework Same thing. I post from first cup of coffee til bedtime. Except they sometimes make me leave the house because I am getting too pale.

Statia Dec 10th, 2003 07:09 AM

A little of both, but I'm usually too busy at home to post much from there. I seem to have more time to lurk at the office. :)

14VK8SHN Dec 10th, 2003 09:50 AM

Hmmm.. Makes me wonder. The majority of Fodors posters work out of home? What, you guys rich or something? I see how many posts from regulars and WOW. What was that Rolling Stones song? Time, time , time is on my side, yes it is?

Scarlett Dec 10th, 2003 11:14 AM

Yes, we are all sooooooo rich. Rich in imagination and experience and thought.

Kal Dec 10th, 2003 12:34 PM

...or some of us just stay drunk all the time, eat kielbassa and play with their monkeys while posting from work.....((D))8-}

gail Dec 10th, 2003 12:47 PM

Regarding being rich and working from home - hardly. I am a part-time home care RN and have barrels of paperwork I do at home. In between I see patients at their homes, raise kids, clip coupons, and research deals on trips. Some of my travel info comes from business traveling husband - who also benefits from my research.
