Fodor's Text Search Not Working?
 

I've been trying to use Fodor's text search and it doesn't seem to be working. I've tried numerous times. I know the post exits but it won't come up with the text search. Try typing a word from the top post. Does that post appear for you or is it just n ot working for me?

Works for me. What are you searching for? Try to type only one or 2 words, like: New York or Vegas. The top posts don't get pulled up right away, is this what you're trying to do?

Must be me. If I type even one word from the #1 post, that one won't come up but others from months ago will. Oh well.

Me again. For example, if I put in the word "search" (it's in the title and body of this post) this post doesn't come up.

Me TOOOO. <BR><BR>I was wondering. Sometimes this happens for a day or two. And then it'll work again. <BR><BR>From what I've noticed, If the post was created today, it does not appear in the search. <BR><BR>I believe you Mary ;-)

Are you trying to search for a fairly recent post? I seem to recall someone saying a while back that it can take several days for posts to be added to the search engine.

The keyword search (i.e., country or US state) works immediately, but the text search gets updated very sporadically, at intervals that can range from hours to weeks.
