Hang in there! I just found out about this site last week when I was planning next summer's vacation. Sooner or later, all you "old timers" will be stars!

I've been telling my husband about fodors for ages and now he's showing signs of addiction but that really poses a problem b/c now we fight for the computer! I may have to recruit from outside the home. LOL

Lee Ann

tpatricco Nov 25th, 2004 06:41 PM

LOL! Now we'll be guessing who she is Scarlett!

I tell people how great a resourcethis site is all the time. In fact I told my Aunt tonight at dinner! I'm doin' my part! :D

Scarlett Nov 25th, 2004 06:52 PM

Lee Ann, why? does muffin resemble me?

tpatricco, she only posts on the European forums when she is in the midst of planning a trip. :)

>>Lee Ann, why? does muffin resemble me?<<

No, thankfully! :-) It's just that you had mentioned your daughter, and then Muffin popped in after a few weeks away, and one thing led to another in my little brain...

...and they told two friends,,,,and so on...and so on............what was that commercial and what was the product?!

fehgeddaboudit Nov 30th, 2004 10:53 PM

Shampoo was the product.
Who has the brand name?

turn_it_on Nov 30th, 2004 10:55 PM

G'lou...

Is it this: http://www.smartads.info/articles/st/20.html

She (and many others online) says it's an old Breck shampoo ad. That means nothing to me. Although I did like the links I found calling John Kerry--he of the hair--a Breck girl.

Ah, come on!!! Am I so old or are you all so young....of course I remember the Breck Girl...I can see that wavy shiny hair right now..lol// Then again I remember dancing cigarette packs on tv.

Now that he has retired, Mr. GoTravel is probably going to start posting.

Face it: what we really "need" here are two more categories or sections:

One could be called "Whine" and the other one "Hen Party."

Ryan Dec 1st, 2004 06:46 AM

If you like, I can create a second ID and resurrect one of the ids I used back when you could have fun with a clever, yet absurd, troll post.

turn_it_on Dec 1st, 2004 09:39 PM

Parrotmom,

Yes, I am so young.

Geez, Ryan, don't give away my secret.
You know me - but you don't know me.
