Fodors Ads in Chats! Beware!
 

Hey, check out the chat about homw ofetn hubby ought to call home when he's on the road - Fodors inserted a Hyatt Hotel pop-up as right in the middle!!!!! This isn't the first time either. I don't recall Danny's asking our permission! Some nerve!

There's a Hyatt ad at the TOP, not the middle. But when you're as wasted as x I guess you can't tell which end is up anymore.

Bob--sometimes the hyatt ad is on the bottom (keeps switching places with the expedia ad) but it's never in the middle.

I too saw a pop up ad.

believe me, the damned ad was between the 5th and 6th reply, and now it's gone! Jeeez, the eye guy said this might happen - but honestly, it was there - I swear I saw it! I did, I did, I did. God, I'll never smoke any of that ever, ever again. And really, I didn't even inhale!

News flash, x: Fodors did announce this new policy some time ago, but they certainly do NOT need our permission. As I recall, we don't pay a dime to be on this site, while it does cost fodors something to maintain it. They can, and will, do whatever they want.

hmmm, you may be corect, marilynn, but it wouldn't hurt danny to be polite about it. i mean, if we weren't here, who would read their dumb ads. and to insert the thing in the middle of a converstaion is pretty much butting in, and we all know that's rude and crude. learned that in Jack 'n jill play school!

fodors can make all the $$ it wants, do i care! but pop-up ads make me jumpy - the damned little things are suddenly staring you in the kisses, saying lookeeee. at this point i just want one person to believe me when i say i did see one pop-up on that thread. it was hyatt hotel, i swear it was. danny took it away just to be mean, and to cast doubt on my loonecy. i did see it, at least i think i saw it.

On that chat with 50 replies now I see a pop-up on top and Expedia at the bottom, nothing in the middle. Is your PC working right? I'm here almost every day and never noticed anything in the middle of any chat! Reboot, it may help.

Didn't see the Pop-up cause I pay a yearly Fee of $20.00 to stop that Chit! But y'all to cheap to spend that kind of money, so get a life!
