Fodor's
Would someone please tell me how to phonetically pronounce Fodor's?
I have recently become an advid reader of Fodor's and really appreciate the helpful hints and tips. And reading the forum is quite helpful too.
Thanks.

Here we go again! If it were Foe-ders, it wld be spelled that way to make the "o" a long "o". But it's not. So, it is Faw-ders...short "o". Could The Fodor Family please settle this once & for all?

Do what I do - whenever asked which travel sites I like, I respond by saying, "It's the 'F' site. Not Frommer's. The OTHER one."
Of course, that pre-supposes I know how to pronounce "Frommer's."
And what is it with travel sites? Fodors, Frommers, Zagats. Why can't these places be called something normal and easy to pronounce like "Bob's" or "Sue's"?
