Flying into Ft Myers. . which car rental
 

company should I use? And does that company require a a shuttle.

As i recall, every car rental company requires a shuttle in Ft. Myers. They are located across the street from the airport. I've used Avis in the past. Dollar also has good rates with codes found at http://www.travelcouponsonline.com

We always use National in Ft. Myers. It's worth it to join their Emerald Club & your car is waiting for you. No lineups. You select from among 5 or 6 cars. I think there was short shuttle ride but it was no big deal. Ft. Myers is a relatively small airport...We are not talking Miami here!!
