I went to Florida last September/October for 2 weeks with a friend. Of course we did the Disney Stuff (which was nearly empty) and went to Busch Gardens. However, I would strongly recommend that youy visit TyphoonLagoon On Disney for the most fun I have ever had. Was skeptical about a water park, but had the time of my Life, especially when the Tidal Wave started. Was in the pool the entire 90 minutes for the waves.

Enjoy (eat at a Tony Roma's Ribs if one is in your area.)

My wife and I personally love Sanibel Island and Captiva Island off of Ft. Myers. We stay at Mitchell's Sand Castles on Sanibel Island. We've been there many times and will reture for more.
Try snorkling in a spring in the center of Florida such as Blue Spring or Manitee Spring. The springs are very beautiful.
I personally love the Gulf Coast side of Florida because it is less crowded and commercial.
Enjoy,
Walt

I certainly agree with Walt about his message about Sanibel. However, please be aware that anyone who has grown up on the East Coast knows that it's hurricane season----so go with that in mind!
