Florida New Year's Eve
 
We will be in the Fort Lauderdale / Miami area for New Year's Eve and wondered what there is to do. Anyone have any suggestions for a festive evening (that doesn't involve a smokey bar) for a couple in their mid-thirties?<BR><BR>

We were thinking a nice home-made dinner at the condo and a champagne toast on the beach, but I would like to have some other options. Anyone know of a good website posting events for the Miami and/or Fort Lauderdale areas?<BR>Thanks!

Voodoo Lounge on Riverview. They have a great outdoor patio.

Go w/ the 'home-made dinner' @ the condo w/ champagne on the beach! However, if you do decide to 'go out' go to Louie Louie on Los Olas. ( Make res. now!) When you get home you can have that toast on the beach! I wanna be there!!!! Happy New Year!!!

I vote for the Vodoo Lounge in Las Olas. This place is the happening place in Lauderdale. Great music, great people and lots of fun.
