I live in Orlando. This is just a big, big mall, not too far from I- drive,(on Orange Blossom Trail) but traffic in the area is horrendous. It has a Saks,Nordstroms, and Dillards along with many other well known smaller shops and a California Pizza kitchen and an Italian chain restaurant. Not too far away is the Millenia Mall, which has upscale shopping, such as Nieman-Marcus and specialty shops. Also very nice restaurants, such as Brio, Cheescake Factory, PF Chang, an upscale steak house and the Blue Martini bar

Can you take the trolley on i-drive to this mall.

I have no idea, but would suggest you check with the establishment with which you are staying.

I don't believe the I-drive trolley <http://www.iridetrolley.com/index.html> goes to the Florida Mall. However, if you are without a car, taxi fare should not be too bad.

Some years ago, we booked a motel in Orlando on the basis that it was near the Florida Mall - we were coming from Australia, and thought we could walk over and "stock up" for our mostly self-catered trip.
We were wrong! The road system around the Mall is horrendous, and very pedestrian unfriendly. (it's not alone in American road design for that - car travel is easy and well catered-for, pedestrian traffic mostly ignored - maybe rising fuel costs will eventually change this?)

Orlando Vic is correct about the trolley. Lynx (the bus service) does go from I drive to the Florida Mall however.

If you choose to use Lynx, plan for extra travel time. We took Lynx from Disney to the Florida Mall and with transfers and all, our trip to the mall took approximately 1.5 hours. Needless to say, we caught a taxi back to Disney, which cost $30 for two people. Rent a car. It is the most economical way to get around Orlando and it seems most attractions are accessible from I-4.

The OP has mentioned I-drive twice, so I assume that is the starting point in getting to Florida Mall. If that is correct, then he/she does not have to transfer from one bus to another. Otherwise, yes, using Lynx busses in Orlando is generally not convenient for tourists.
