Florida Keys-where to stay?

Hello,

My girlfriend and I will be visiting the Keys for a romantic get-a-way March 30-April 2nd. I was looking for a nice, quiet, clean place, hopefully a cottage with a porch or balcony. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks!

My hubby and I found these charming cottages in Tavernier to fit the bill-
they have a great website with lots of photos-www.islandbayresort.com

WE've stayed at Rainbow Bend a couple a times. Very small little resort, fits your description. Private beach, halfway to Key West (Grassy Key). Good food, breakfast included in the price.

We stayed at the Limetree Bay Resort on Long Key (about halfway down the Keys) at around the same time as you last year. We loved it, it was very quiet, the grounds were tropical, nice pool overlooking the ocean, right on the water with a little pier. They have a variety of rooms, but we got a basic hotel room (which was very clean and enjoyable) for like $120/night. I wrote a trip report here: http://www.fodors.com/forums/threads...p;tid=34410787

Let me know if you have any questions!
