Florida keys southernmost point

okay so there is this landmark thing that is at the southernmost point of the United States in the Florida Keys that is black white red and yellow and it actually says 90 miles to Cuba southernmost point continental USA...it's a great tourist picture opportunity im assuming and what I'm wondering is if someone who lives close to there if they would take a picture of themselves standing on the black platform right next to it and then tell me how tall they are.I know this probably isn't the most appropriate place to post this but I'm very very curious. I have a friend that sent me a picture standing next to this who ive never met in person and I think he is shorter than he says he is so this would be an easy way for me to get a height perception if anybody is going to do this thanks so much in advance!

and just how are you going to see this picture that's being taken?

The virtual geocache http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache...7-c238115522f7
The most recent finder is 6ftzipper & halfzip
I have met 6ftzipper (lives in Oregon 5 months per year.
He is indeed 6 feet tall and he posted a picture with his log which I hope you can see without creating a geocaching profile.
The true southernmost land is within the Naval Air Station but is not open to the public.

I can tell you that my husband is 6 feet tall. Standing beside the marker, but not on the black base, the top of his head is just at the white line above the 90 miles to Cuba. Hope this helps.

The base appears to be about 5" high so I hope you can tell if the friend is standing on it or not.
Glad I could help. If you need a picture of a well known location I can usually find it from my friends who do geocaching.
