Florida Condo Rental - Any Suggestions?

Hi,

I am looking to rent a one-bedroom, oceanfront condo for 7 - 10 nights toward the end of March in southern Florida (I want it to be WARM!) The important things to me are: great view of water (ocean, bay, etc.) from nice balcony, cleanliness, and direct/close access to the beach. I don't want to be "across the street" from the beach.

The amenities of a "resort" setting would be nice, but they aren't that important to me.

If you have had a good experience in a condo like that described above, I would really appreciate your suggestion/advice.

Thank you.

Any ideas?

Thanks,

Not sure how "warm" you want it, but it's 74 there this week.

Careful though, end of March means "spring breakers" and high rates.

We make a yearly trek to Siesta Key in Sarasota. After visiting many places in Florida we have found this beach to be the one to return to year after year. The sand is a beautiful white powder & it is a wonderful walking beach. We love staying at the Jamaica Royale which has great views of the beach & beautiful grounds. www.jamaicaroyale.com

Celiaanne: try www.tug2.net or www.vrbo.com (or maybe net, I am not sure). Marriott Ocean Pointe on Singer's Island wld meet your criteria. If you cannot find something @ either of the sites that I have mentioned, you can call Marriott Ocean Pointe directly. Hope you find what you are looking for! :)

The Sunset Chateau on Sunset Beach in Treasure Island (Tampa/St. Pete) is mostly one-bedrooms, which can be hard to find. This is a beautiful beach. The Chateau has a pool but no other resort amenities. There are great restaurants a block and more away. Search Treasure Island through VRBO.com or vacationrentals.com.

Thanks to all for your suggestions. I have been looking at vrbo.com and will try the others!

Can you stretch it to 14 nights? The Pelican Cove in Indian Rocks Beach is perfect. Only 20-24 condos, on beach, all face the ocean. But they do not rent under 2 weeks.
