Flooded roads

We,re driving to Moosehead lake tomorrow and I read there are flooded roads around there. Anyone know more?

janisj Jun 24th, 2012 01:08 PM

And this Moosehead lake is where exactly? No state tag and no hint in your post.

It's probably not in Florida, Arizona, or Hawaii.

All other bets are off.

No flooded roads.

California is dry as a bone.

rizzo0904 Jun 24th, 2012 03:59 PM

My guess is Maine.

Cali Jun 24th, 2012 04:14 PM

My guess is they are thinking of Moose Lake, MM which did have flooding, however I have never heard of Moosehead Lake.

They have some flooding in brownville, which is east of moosehead lake. And the lake area is under a flood watch thru Wednesday I believe. Try calling a local business. I'm in nh....so not nearby.

sf7307 Jun 24th, 2012 05:12 PM

Still don't know where it is - MM?

rizzo0904 Jun 24th, 2012 05:31 PM

It's in Maine...gotta be. They are having flooding and there is a moosehead lake in Greenville.

OP had a different topic a couple weeks ago that referenced Moosehead Lake in Maine.

Moose Lake, MN is probably what Cali meant. The MN Dep't of Natural Resources has some good updates on the flooding that Duluth, Moose Lake and other northern Minnesota towns have experienced in the past week.

So both Moose Lake, MN, and Moosehead Lake, ME, are having flooding. What is a body to do?
