Floating Pagoda Restaurant

Has anyone eaten here? Sounds interesting, but not sure. I can't find a menu online.

I guess you mean the restaurant for the Pagoda Hotel in Honolulu.

Eh, it's ok, definitely not my favorite place to eat. It's a popular place for a buffet that is on the less expensive side. Food ok, nothing great IMO.

The "private" teahouses would be the best place to sit, but usually they are reserved in advance for larger parties. For a smaller group of people you're more likely to be seated in the main dining area and there's nothing too special about that.

For something similar in central Honolulu, you might look at the Willows Restaurant. Established in the 1940's, it's been nicely restored and has an Hawaiian ambiance with foliage and a pond fed by natural springs. I can't recall if it's a fishpond or not, maybe someone else can fill that part in.

The food is definitely a step up from the Pagoda, a bit more expensive, but worth it IMO.

Thank you! The Willows definitely looks better. Much appreciated!

Definitely Willows over Pagoda. We only go to Pagoda when there are about 8 people and we want a semi-private table, plus are on a budget lunch.
