Float drip down Colorado river at Horseshoe Bend
 

We have reservations for kayaking Horseshoe Bend Friday 10/25/24 but with questionably low temps, any thoughts?

Thoughts about what? The river is ALWAYS cold.

Or do you mean air temps?? October is usually the about the best time of the year weather-wise.

The forecast for Fri 10/25 looks lovely to me. Since the sun will be blocked by the canyon walls the air temps on the river will be considerably lower than Page but still lovely for kayaking. If you are sensitive to the cold be sure to bring appropriate clothing. The water temp is in the 40’s (F) all year round.
