flights to hawaii....in June
 

Has anyone flown on Aloha Air? We are trying to find the best deal on flights from North Dakota to Lihue, Kauai for June 2005. There was an Aloha fare listed on-line last night from Las Vegas to Lihue for only $438.00 last night. Today it is gone. We hope to be able to find a low fare to Las Vegas, then on to Hawaii. Any advice out there?

I'm flying them in January. You could do what I'm doing. I'm flying to San Fran and then taking Aloha out of Oakland for $370. The fare is the same out of San Diego. I don't know if your close to Bismark, but when I checked Travelocity, the fare from Bismark to San Fran or San Diego was about the same as to Las Vegas. Good Luck

Dantheman, that sounds like a really good idea. But, when I checked Aloha just now, the rates are back up to $698.00 from Oakland to Lihue. From Bismarck to San Fran, it is $388.00. I do plan to depart from Bismarck. Otherwise, the flights are running about $938.00 the last few weeks. I just don't know how long I should wait for a good deal; maybe the prices will continue to go up...?

Aloha Air was having a sale through 11/9 @ 6 p.m.... that's probably why the fare you saw is gone today.

Don't feel too bad about missing the last date to book the sale fare. I checked it out and it was not applicable to flights in June. Thos fares are VERY hard to obtain, even during the period that they advertise.
Hawaiian Air is having a great sale now, but i think the prices are good only through April. These fares are great, but it's no accident that they usually don't apply to peak travel times/ holidays, etc
Perhaps check ATA from San Francisco. They might have a good deal in June.

iamg: Yes we are staying at Pali Uli in the Cliffhouse. It's a surprise for my wifes birthday. We toured the property when we stayed at the Flower Farm last year. I can hardly stand it. I'm on here every day and you can only look at the same pictures so many times. 11 weeks to go!
