Flights from Bay Area to Orlando, Florida

need assistance in finding most direct, preferably non-stop flights to the Orlando, Florida area - not sure which airports in Orlando and Bay Area are preferable in terms of direct flights and convenience -planning trip mid-January for 5 days

I find it hard to believe you can't find flights on your own. One source I like to use as just an overview is www.orbitz.com. They don't show Southwest so I will usually check there. I think Orlando is MCO

Orlando is MCO. The Sanford Airport is also convenient, but it's usually more expensive and I doubt there's a nonstop to it from the West Coast. Tampa (TPA) is a 60-90 minute drive from Orlando, so not exactly convenient in my eyes, but it could work.

But yes--use Expedia, Travelocity and Orbitz to get a wider overview of what's out there than anyone here can give you. You can filter for nonstops only, and specify to include nearby airports.

not expecting nor appreciating vjp's snarky response on this otherwise informed, friendly, very helpful travel site - would much rather hear some specifics as NewbE offered, beyond, WHAT I HAVE ALREADY GLEANED! from expedia, orbitz et al

United is the only airline I found flying non-stop from San Francisco to Orlando; I found no non-stop flights to Orlando from either Oakland or San Jose. Check kayak.com with your specific dates and use the filters, such as length of layover, number of stops, etc.

Southwest is only booking through January 4, 2015,

Well, why don't you help US out by telling us exactly what you have "already gleaned?"

You are supposed to guess

I think OP is a troll or a regular poster using another name. He posts q's like this for which the answers can easily be found elsewhere.

He could be a troll, or he could be someone who is overwhelmed by the many choices available. I'll give him the benefit of the doubt. :)

A theme . . .

He has been directed to all the same web sites on nearly every thread. The OP's destination may change but the advice remains the same.

Maybe he's just lazy? ;)
