Flight from LAS on Saturday
 

Our flight from Las Vegas departs at 10 am on Saturday. In your opinion what time should we arrive in the airport after returning our rental car to Dollar? I read many posts here stating there are long lines to go through security checks. However, will be flying on Saturday if that makes any difference. Also we are flying on Continental. Thanks

That is a very busy airport indeed,and it's always better to be safe than sorry. I would get there at least 2 hours early.

And that 2 hours means inside the airport - not at the Dollar counter . . . . .

I fly up to Vegas often and McCarren is usually always very busy..the day of the week does not mean much.

Be at the Dollar office by at least 7:45 a.m. You should be ok getting to the terminal between 8-8:15 a.m. Airline check in (assuming you are checking bags) and Security can be horrible at McCarren a/p, always allow a minimum of 90 minutes-2 hours prior to flight time to arrive. If it's a "good day" on the lines you can always play a few slot machines or eat something to kill time :-)

You will have to check out of your hotel early - allow about 20 min. to get to the a/p. Traffic on Sat. morning at that time won't be bad tho.
