Flea markets near Time Square?
 
Hi! We are leaving for New York on Friday. We would like to have a "flea market morning" on Saturday. We have a play at 2:00 on Saturday. Can anyone recommend a flea/junk market nearby? I have copied all the old information, but I am looking for something more current. We are staying at the Paramount, if that would help. Thanks, Sharon

The closest one I can think of is the Hell's Kitchen flea market on Saturday and Sunday between 9th and 10th -- on 39th, I think. I found it more "junk" than "fleas".

Go early to Chelsea (25-26 st. around 6th ave.) You have plenty of time.

There's a Street Fair on Park Ave on Sat from 17th to 23rd St. Lots of stuff there, and alot less fleas.
