Flamingo to Paris
First timer trying to plan....When to take cabs and when to walk. I will be staying at the Flamingo.....Would it make sence to walk to the Paris for their breakfast buffet?....How long of a walk?
|
Of course you can walk - you would be stupid to take a cab - it would be about a 5, 10 min walk.

Hi,

I did that walk when I was in Vegas in June 2002. Anthony is right, it is only a five to ten minute walk door to door .
You can also use the mooving walkways and walk through Bally's to the Buffet.

The Paris breakfast buffet was very good.

Regards

TBS

I was just at the Flamingo a few weeks ago. Yes, it is a very easy walk. Just go into Bally's, and their casino connects directly into paris. Easy to find.

How was the Flamingo? Clean? Nice? Great location? How about the buffets there?

I stayed at Paris, Flamingo and Aladdin during my last trip (July 4, 2002. I moved because the rates went up over the weekend. I liked Paris best but Flamingo was just fine - i had a large room - just the bathroom was kind of 50s esp compared to the nice bathrooms at Paris. But Flamingo had a friendly feel to it and I liked the pool with the flamingo fountains. Never had the buffet -Lindy's has terrible coffee!!

We stayed at Ballys two weeks ago. The trams were shut down. They are renovating them to reach even more hotels in the future.

Ballys had the best breakfast buffet we ever had, with NO wait. We did see long lines when we were in Paris, but it's hard to believe it could be better than Ballys. I vote for no wait!

I'm not picky at all, and I did not like the Flamingo buffet, wouldn't go there 2nd time. We went there to use our 2 for 1. Even Sahara's buffet is better. And I did not like Flamingo's buffet service.
