Flamingo Rooms!

Where are the best rooms w/a view at the Flamingo? Maybe a specific room#? Less noisey? Do the suites have a strip view?

The best rooms are the ones on the highest floors facing the strip. Same with all the strip hotels. And that's what most everyone requests.
Many suites have strip views, some don't. Why the Flamingo?

We have stayed at the Flamingo on the 22nd flr on the front corner facing the strip and the Bellagio Fountains and loved it. The windows are huge and you have a wonderful view of the fountains and their many shows. I think I like the view of the fountains from there better than when we have stayed at the Bellagio. Enjoy!!

gplimpton....I have reserved a room at the Flamingo for 4 nites in Aug. to celebrate our anniversary includes a fri. and sat. stay for $270, thought this was a great bargain! We will be enjoying the pool for most of the days. This will be our first time in Vegas and was wondering what to ask for ....for an upgrade.

That's a pretty competitive rate, Ed.
Flamingo isn't the flashiest or newest hotel on the strip, but in August you'll value the pool there, which is one of Flamingo's best assets (along with its location). Happy anniversary.
As for upgrades, be sure to mention that it's your anniv when checking in. If they don't offer some sort of upgrade, you can usually buy an upgrade with a bill under your credit card. Unless there are several conventions your weekend, August is a pretty quiet month in LV and getting upgraded is easier than spring/fall.
