It's a very short drive from I-4, but I'm not sure if there are any hotels/motels at that exit. If memory serves, there aren't. There is a hotel in Cassadaga. It's REAL old, but it's a very interesting building, architecturally. I'm not sure, though, if it's open for lodging (and I don't remember it's name). The last time I was there (about 7-8 years ago) they were only serving lunch at the hotel. It's none of my business, but you are aware that Cassadaga is the home of the "spirit" world? There are all kinds of mediums, tea leaf readers, and palm readers living there. But it is a cool little town. Lots of old, towering trees covered in spanish moss. Have fun.

Cassadega is a spiritualist colony, and a quaint little place at that. It's an interesting side trip only ten or so minutes off of I-4 between Orlando and Daytona. You can have lunch at the very good restaurant there---it's a hotel, too. In summer, you can swim in one of the lakes, or wander around looking at the odd mish mash of architectural styles. You can have a spiritualist "reading" with no appointment, too.
