FL beaches with white sand and clear water

Which FL beaches come closest to Caribbean beaches, in terms of white sand and clear water?

Beaches between Perdido Key and Panama City are famously white. Not sure how they compare to the Caribbean, though.

In my opinion they are much better. I loved Sannibel and Captiva, but Lovers Key is also beautiful.

Any of the beaches on the Gulf would work.

My favorites are those in the Panhandle along 30a.

Siesta Key Beach in Sarasota definitely has the "white sand" to qualify.

I agree that the beaches on the Gulf side including the panhandle would qualify rather than those over here on the "best side" facing the Atlantic.

The Caribbean???? WHITE sand? Depends on the island I suspect.

Thanks, will check out the recommendations. I'm familiar with the East Coast FL beaches. Went to Sanibel once and loved the Ding Darling sanctuary but beaches on Sanibel were full of shells.
