Five Palms Beach Grill - Kihei on Maui
 

Is anyone familiar with the Five Palms Beach Grill on S. Kihei Rd on Maui?

We are considering have our wedding ceremony and reception dinner there, but have read some mixed reviews on tripadvisor.com.

Some of my family go there several times, any time they're in Hawaii. Love the sunsets, and say the food is very good!

Our one experience was fabulous - great beef filet!

We got married last year at the ManaKai and had our reception at the Five Palms. It was absolutely wonderful. We were so pleased with everything, in large part due to the manager, Shawn. Instead of cake, we served our guests the pineapple creme brulee...to die for!

The setting is one of the loveliest on Maui. I have the same thing to eat everytime I go...it's 3 different kinds of fish cooked 3 different ways. Very delicious!
My husband usually orders the earlybird specials, which are not as "special" tasting as the regular menu.

Did you use the Five Palms offer of their property or did you have the ceremony on the beach?

How would you rate the view of that beach?
