Hi me again now i have to look after hubby and he wants to buy Fishing Lures and go to a Timberland shop when we visit later this month any info please

JanJack: Really, you should look for a Timberland store online. Maybe you'll get lucky for an outlet.
Not sure about lures, but if your travels take you through DFW and you have a few hours to kill between flights, there is a huge Bass Pro at the north exit of the airport.

New York City? or state of New York somewhere?

Bass Pro Shops are the best. The Super Wal Mart of fishing store.

There's a Timberland store on Madison Avenue in the 60's -- get address from Timberland online. For fishing lures go to Orvis on Madison Avenue at 44th Street I believe. Again, confirm address online.

Hi thanks for all your advice will check out suggested web sites. There is no info relating to fishing equipment in the guides to New York I have bought or borrowed but it is well known in the UK that all the colourfull lures come from USA. Web addresses are a bit vague too. Maybe there's an opening for a business here as it doesn't seem to be covered??

Well, since you refuse to tell us if you are seeking fishing stuff in New York City or somewhere else in New York State you probably aren't going to get very good help on here.

Most of the good fishing flies are hand made in local places. Orvis is nationally the biggest (and most priciest) supplier of fly fishing equipment. Cabelas for all other types of fishing.

Hi we're going to New York City and my husband would like to buy Carp fishing lures. Thanks for your replies but i wasn't refusing to tell you where we are going but that i only check my recent postins every few days.
