Fishing in Ismadora, Keys.
 

Message: I am taking a father and his 2 sons to Ismadora in the Keys for fishing for 4 days. Can anytell me of a good outfit to hire for fishing. Not interested in deep sea but having some good action for the 2 sons (15 & 12).

Can't remember the name of the charter.But, don't take the one out of the marina where you can feed the tarpon. Not very knowledgable,unprepared & wasted time onshore(30-40 minutes of the 4 hour trip).Didn't even want to be bothered with moving to other spots when nothing was biting. Not fun.

Call the Chamber of Commerce and find out who they recommend. Also, try Bud & Mary's Marina.

By the way slim, it is Islamorada not Ismadora. It is a little tricky.

I prefer offshore fishing to back country just because the bc is so tricky to navigate.

You will have the fishing of you life!

Thanks for correcting my spelling of Islamorada. I've been mispronouncing it for days now.
