There are many nice wineries in the Dundee area: Archery Summit, Domaine Drouhin, Domaine Serene are a few of our favorites for Pinot Noir. Tina's or the Dundee Bistro are both nice places for meals in this area. The Joel Palmer House in Dayton is a nice, fine dining experience. ***kim*** ((*))

We just got back from a trip to OR. If you have a few friends, get together and rent a car. Do a day trip up 84 through the Columbia Gorge. Stop at the waterfalls, then keep going up all the way to Timberline lodge at Mt. Hood for lunch. It's a lovely drive. On the way back stop at the Full Sail Brewery for a tour and a little refreshment. If you'll be in OR it would seem a shame not to see some of the natural beauty out of the city.

And if you do see the Gorge via I-84, make sure you get off I-84 (if you have an extra hour) at the Corbett exit, head up the hill, then make a left on the Columbia River Scenic HIghway and follow it down and into the woods (several waterfalls) before you hit Multnomah Falls. Make sure you stop at the Women's Forum and Crown Point to get great views of the gorge. Multnomah Falls is wonderful but some of the others in the woods, less visited and not accessible via I-84, are also quite wonderful.
