Another good Hawaii site is Sheila Beal's site. It has lots of info including short articles, updated news articles & many links. Good for all islands:

Maps of Waikiki hotels & condos:

http://driveguidemagazines.com/oahu_waikiki.html
You can get other maps from their home page.

This one has a good magnification feature:

You can get other maps from their home page.

This one has some condos that the other maps don't have. Good for use with www.vrbo.com

Dusty, we are planning our first trip to Hawaii next year, and I've really enjoyed the information you've provided. I'm starting a research file where I can start plotting out where we're going and what we're going to do, and this information was invaluable. Thanks so much!

What about Honolulu? There are some great places on the ocean/beach to stay in. Or across the street. Park shore is beautiful http://www.parkshorewaikiki.com/?src...lulunyctourist . The Outrigger Luana Waikiki is pretty cool. And not to worry about your daughter not being a nature freak, there's much to see and do that she'll enjoy her time there. Try here some some great hotel idea's.
