I live in Fresno and travel to Yosemite/Sequoia quite often. If you have any specific questions I would be happy to help. I also would think about Hearst Castle if driving the full way to LA. It is about 2.5 hours from Fresno and 2 hours north of LA on the coast. Much to do and see along the central coast!
