Re Carnegie Deli waiters - in the old days the waiters' attitude was part of the ambience. Typical joke of those days: Customer: Waiter, your finger is in my soup. Waiter: That's ok, it's not hot.

we are taking a walking tour thru the park ending at 72 st. and Central Park W. Isn't Columbus Circle on our route (or close) to the Palace Theatre?

Are you sure you're leaving from Penn Station and not Port Authority?

Megabus (like Bolt Bus and the Chinatown buses) uses street parking, not Port Authority.

Please please please don't waste your time at Mde. Tussaud's (I speak from experience -- I took my daughter when she was 11 or 12 -- one time too many!)
