First time visit to a NFL game- Redskins
 

We have obtained tickets for a Redskins home game at Fedex field. It will be our first time to a game and we are stopping in Georgetown on our trip from UK.
The game is on a Sunday, so would appreciate any hints/tips for getting to the game and what time to arrive. I will list my questions to make it easier:-
1. Can we get the metro direct to fedex field?
2. Can you take in your own food/drinks?
3. How long does the games usually last?
4. How easy is it to get back to Washington?
5. What scams do we need to watch out for?

Where are you staying the night before/of the game and which game do you have tickets for?
