I just got home from 17 days in Oahu and Kauai. I loved Oahu!

Based on your annivesary, and no kids along, I would spend 3-4 days
in Oahu and see the island and then
go to Kauai for R&R and gorgeous scenery. Jaw dropping beauty.

The Grand Hyatt Kauai is very romantic at night, it was so beautiful. There are pools, a lagoon and the beach. It's more isolated, not like in Maui.

Then when it's time to take the family all over for a Hawaiian vacation, get a condo on Kaanapali beach in Maui and see the sites. It's more active.

Kauai is laid back and relaxing, hiking, snorkeling...perfect way to celebrate with your husband 10 years of marriage!

My vote is two island, less time at the airport, more time at the pool or in the ocean!

If you like to snorkel, you might want to add a day on Oahu to go to Hanauma Bay.

Well, Elaine used to use, "GHETT OUT"...and I was like, "SHUT up.."
All in good fun.

I wish there were more ways on this site to express your Tone when talking!

Kauai sucks. NOT........

Sorry ccb213 (that was the best name you could think of?) Didn't mean to hijack your post! (a light
hearted chuckle as I type and hope there are no offended responses)...
