First time in Hot Springs

Couple in our late 20's, early 30's considering Hot Springs for a winter vacation. Any suggestions for accommodations/activities/springs? I know we're not spring chickens(sorry I just realized the pun), but are we too young for HS? Most of what I've heard has been from my Grandmother and her friends. help please

Hot Springs Arkansas

Frankly, I can't imagine Hot Springs, Arkansas being a vacation destination for folks in their 20s or 30s. I'm in my late 50s and I wouldn't want to spend a vacation there. We go occasionally for an overnight stay, but wouldn't want want to spend more than a night or two. If I were you, I think I'd look into other places.

Hot Springs is a neat place for a quick weekend away if you live within a 5-hour drive, but I wouldn't stay there any longer than that, especially in the winter. If you're there during Oaklawn Park's season (which is short) thwen you might find enough to keep you busy for more than a couple of days.

Do get a bath and massage at one of the bathhouses. For me, that is worth the drive form Dallas!
