First Dumbo - now Pluto is popping up
After having him annoy me twice, I discovered the "x" to close window is in very upper right corner, nowhere near Pluto. On my screen it is near Message title, but different sized monitors will place it in a different place.

Annoying isn't he!! I spent the entire time he was on my screen trying to find the x but never did. Thanks, next time I'll know where to look!

Oh yes...to whomever is the advertiser...I have no idea what it's an ad for even...I'll assume Disney, but if that's the case, it's sure not an effective tool. How to get people to buy your product: annoy the heck out of them! LOL

Pluto has got to go. >:O
Let's send Pluto to a Super 8 motel
Isn't it Goofy?
You're right Alice. Oh Well......
Might be - I just know it is annoying.
Goofy with a frying pan.........
I'm not seeing Dumbo, Pluto or Goofy... could be because I'm on a mac. But I can imagine how annoying it would be. What a bad marketing concept...

If you are using MSIE or Firefox, instead of trying to click on the X on the title bar (often the Minmize - Maximize - Close buttons will be off the screen to your ritht where you must "move" the entire box to your left to see them) ... just look for the additional program button that pops up on your taxk bar .. do a right-click then choose "Close". Much easier than getting the cursor on the small X.
have no special programs, blockers, virus, nor anything else similar, and I've not had any of the problems I often read about here. I have a customized "host" file. Read more about host file at: http://www.mvps.org/winhelp2002/hosts.htm |
Now on Africa/Middle East there is a "rollover" map - you slide mouse to a dot on the map and it oozes over the entire screen and won't go away.
