Fireworks in Lake Tahoe
 
My family and I are going to Lake Tahoe for the 4th of July. We are staying on the North Shore, but will have a car and can go to the south side. <BR> <BR>Where can we see fireworks?

Several communities around the lake have fireworks. There is usually a display at Incline/Sand Harbor, Tahoe City, Stateline and others. Personal fireworks are not allowed due to the fire danger.

Rachel, the roads around Lake Tahoe on the 4th of July are usually very congested for the 4th. You should plan on getting to your destination early in the day because the beaches get crowded too. Fireworks at the lake are scheduled for the 3rd in Kings beach, on the 4th Commons beach in Tahoe City and West End Beach, Donnor Lake, on the 5th at West Shore Cafe Homewood.

Thanks for the advice. Does anyone know if the Hyatt Hotel still has fireworks, and if it is open to everyone?
