Fireworks at Walt Disney World
 

Can anyone tell me the best place to view the Fireworks at WDW. Can you see them from any of the 4 major parks? Also, what time are they this time of year. I'm leaving tomorrow, so I need an answer fast. Thank you for any info on them.

Are you speaking about the fireworks at Epcot or at the Magic Kingdom?

For the former, they are easily viewed from the edges of the "lake" or "lagoon" in the center; even better from the Rose and Crown pub.

I like to watch them from the Boardwalk hotel parking lot or the Boardwalk itself, behind the hotel. Sometimes you can see them from Downtown Disney or one of the hotel balconies on Hotel Plaza Boulevard in Lake buena Vista.

We take the grandkids to the Contemporary and go to then end of the shops and out the exit door facing Space Mountain. There are benches and usually about 100 people out there to watch the terrific fireworks of the Magic Kingdom. They even pipe in the music so you get to see and hear with no problem. The only thing you would miss are the ground displays that might be taking place. This is a great place to view the fireworks if you are not going into any park that day. You even have a restroom close by. The halloween display is great, we saw it a couple weeks ago. It is their Not so Scarey Halloween and is wonderful for all ages.

I, too, have heard the Rose and Crown Pub (I think it's in Epcot) is very good for viewing the fireworks. I understand you want an outside table, and you need to book this in advance.

Each park has its own fireworks.

We did a park hopper during the day and made it back to Magic kingdom at night to watch the firework parade. It was magical. Short or no lines for the rides too. I can't imagine anywhere in Disney having bad fireworks. Have a fun trip!

The Epcot show is at 9:30pm and you can also call disney to find out firework times at 1-407-WDW-PLAN.

Certain park restaurants have very nice parade viewing but it may be a little late for that by now, but people generally line up along the sidewalk an hour beforehand. The main viewing area in the Magic Kingdom is the Downtown Disney area and in front of the Magic Kingdom castle.
