Finger Lakes----How much time needed?
 
Hi-
Going to Letchworth, Stony Brook, Watkins Glen, Robert Treman, Buttermilk, and Taughannock State Parks. How much time needed in each? Want to see pretty sights, take photos, hike, swim. THANKS!

I'd say a day at Letchworth, Combine Buttermilk and Taughannock,to one day. As for the rest I'm not too sure but I bet Watikins Glen could easily be a whole other day.

After Letchworth, Stony Brook might disappoint you -- I would skip SB and spend more time in Ithaca/Watkins. I would do 2 days in Ithaca (Treman, Butter, Taugh), 1 in Watkins, & 1 at Letchworth.

However, someone did tell me they thought there was a "sliding rock" at Stony Brook that kids could slide on into the water. Is this correct?
