Filoli Gardens in Woodside, CA
 

Are there any hotels nearby? We would like to hit Filoli early when they open so we can take it all in before heading on to San Francisco. By the way, we are coming there via Cambria.

Thanks for letting me know about the 'click on the username' thing - didn't know about that! I couldn't find my previous posting - probably spelling 'Filoli' wrong or something.

No - you probably didn't do anything wrong. The search function on here is pretty miserable.

But the "click on you name" feature always works. Sometimes you have to click on it twice to display the very latest threads (in other words click on your name and when the list displays, click on your name again in the thread frame)

As to your original question. No there are no hotels near Filoli. You would have to go into one of the cities close by - San Mateo, San Carlos or Redwood City. Filoli is beautiful at all seasons of the year. Enjoy.
