Feeling Blue from all this Flooding!!
 

We've had such terrible flooding where I am on coastal Long Island the past couple of days (and, worse, nights)that I'm exhausted! Can all of you Fodorites out there sing a "No More Rain" song or dance a "No More Rain" dance for us, please!!! This is crazy!! :(

I'll do my usual rain dance in reverse. I hope it helps.

ugh! i'm so over this! rain, wind...more rain and wind. michelle...my home is on the south shore (haven't spoke to my mom in a couple days, not sure how it is there)
and i'm here in nyc, and it's awful!

And we are more than 11 inches under rainfall since June 2005 here in IL.

Too bad we couldn't have gotten more of it here. This fall has been glorious so far and the trees still are not peak yet.

I am ready to pluck my eyelashes out one-by-one. I CAN'T TAKE THE RAIN ANYMORE!

I have no phone service because of this weather. ARRRRRGH!

Funny you should say that about the phone service... we have had spotty service so far this morning. I decided to stay home from work today since I'm exhausted from all the bailing of water in the middle of the night from my basement! It's high tide right now and the water is coming awfully close... I have a new and much greater respect for both the weather and the water... I have ducks swimming on my lawn in the back!!!
