Feb weather in San Diego
 

I am thinking of a trip to San Diego over Valentines Day week-end... coming from cold snowy Ohio. What will the weather be like? Am hoping for 70's and sunny. Am I wrong to think this?

Probably.

weather in february can be nice but will be chilly along the beaches probably. but, inland a mile or two the temp will increase. unless it's raining, it should be sunny. keep in mind where you are coming from. my friends in san diego would consider february cold - my friends from canada think it's a great break in february.

We are also going to SD that weekend for a wedding. It looks like Feb has an average high of 65°F and an average low of 45-50°F. So you might get the sunny 70° weather you are looking for.

I grew up in Ohio and currently live in San Diego, so welcome! The weather in February will most likely be in the 60's, but you may luck out and get weather in the 70's. Also a good chance it will be at least partly sunny. Either way, it will be much warmer than at home.
