FEAST OF LELE
We have reservations for the Feast of LeLe but read on a post from a local that we could eat at Hecock's restraunt and still be ablt to see show. I am a teacher on fixed income, and my son just returned safely from Iraq.
We are praising GOD and surprising him with a trip to Maui. It is also our 25th wedding anniversary. Praise the LORD! Should we eat at Hecock's and watch the show from there. I read oo a post that you could eat there, and they let you stay to watch show. Is this really true? I made resservations for OLL too, but my son and daughter are young. { 20 and 23} We saw the Germaine Luau in Oahu in 2001,because of this they really want the fire dancers. What would you do if you were in my shoes? The Feast of the LeLe would be about 100 dollars more. Is it worth the extra money? God Bless America and please pray for our soldiers and their families who are in harms way. They are fighting for peace. Please don't forget that as you celebrate this Memorial Weekend. Many of them are not coming home soon or have died for the freedoms that we have in our country. Mahalo to all who are serving our country in the military or who have served in the past. |
I am so grateful for the safe return of your son and for him and the others who work so hard to protect us.
The Feast of LeLe was sold out when we were in Maui, but our hotel concierge told us about the Royal Lahaina Luau. It was fabulous. We were so glad we went. If you can, try to bring a camcorder. You will have wonderful memories to reflect on when you return home. PS. Happy,Happy Anniversary--here's to 25+ years more. |
By far the best luau on Maui is The Old Lahaina Luau located across the street from the Cannery Mall in North Lahaina. I've not been to the Feast of Lele but have heard good reports on it.

Drums of the Pacific at the Hyatt is a good luau. They have the best fire knife dancer on Maui.
Feast at Lele is good, but expensive. Old Lahaina Luau may be good, but they do not have a fire knife dancer. I would not choose this one simply because I think the fire knife dancer is the best part of any Polynesian show. Royal Lahaina Luau is probably the best value on Maui. Its a good show. There are lots of coupons available for this show including one in Entertainmant Book for 25% off for up to 4 people. Other coupons in the free brochures. |
We went to the Feast at LeLe in 2001. It was awesome and worth every cent. We have not seen the Old Lahaina Luau so we cannot compare.
