Favorite West Maui Eats

Otay, Fodorites. If you could only eat at one restaurant in West Maui, what would it be? I'm looking for a best all-around vote, here. Mahalo!

My vote would be David Paul's--for the food alone. It's wonderful! However, I would never just choose one...there are too many good ones!

(Oh, and might I suggest you do a search...there are TONS of threads about Maui restaurants that would be helpful).

I guess that would depend on what you're looking for - a great restaurant with a view or a lot of fun, etc. We were in Maui in Feb. and stayed in the West Maui area. All of our meals were great, but for different reasons. The steak was excellent at Ruth's Chris, the fish was great at Roy's in Kahana, and we had a lot of fun at Bubba Gumps in Lahaina. Although I would also say the shrimp dinner I had at Kimo's was excellent too. Guess it just depends on your mood and how hungry you are.
